MEMBERSHIP FEES

All Full, Daytime, and Social memberships include a $50 capital improvement fee.

HALF-YEAR

Half-year curlers may play the season's first or last 2 draws at reduced rates. They may upgrade to full membership or play additional games as non-member spares (see below).

 Half-Year Non-Member fee includes a $50 capital improvement fee.

VOLUNTEERING

Metcalfe Curling Club is a volunteer-run club that relies on members to volunteer to keep our costs low. Full Members are expected to volunteer 2 shifts at the bar and 1 shift in the kitchen each year, and Half-year non-members are expected to volunteer 1 shift at the bar and 1 in the kitchen each year.

All Full Members and half-year non-members who are not Smart Serve Certified or will not do bar duties must pay an additional $200 fee or $100 for half-year non-members. If you wish to complete bar duties, your deposit will be refunded if you provide proof of certification by January 1st. Any member wishing to complete (or renew) the Smart Serve training will have the cost of the training refunded. Any member who has not signed up for their bar and kitchen shifts by January 1st will be invoiced the appropriate opt-out fees ($50 for kitchen and $100 for each bar shift) 

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION

All Full and Daytime members who complete their registration and pay before August 1st, 2024, will be entered into an early bird draw for golf passes for Metcalfe Golf Club.

All Full and Daytime members who complete their registration and pay before September 1st, 2024, will be entered into an early bird draw for 1 of 2 x $100 gift cards for curling equipment, beverages or food at the Metcalfe Curling Club.

Past members with outstanding amounts owed to the club will not be eligible for early bird draws.

REGISTRATION

After completing registration, please select any leagues you wish to spare only here.

You may split your registration into 2 payments by selecting to pay half of your fees when registering and then paying the remaining half before the season starts. The second half may be paid by e-transfer or by credit/debit card by logging into your account and clicking the PAY ONLINE button.

ALL CURLERS (NEW OR RETURNING) MUST PAY FULL DUES BEFORE THE FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON.

REFUND POLICY All membership fees are non-refundable after October 1st.

NON-MEMBER SPARES

Non-members may spare up to 10 times in evening leagues during the season for $20 per game to be paid at the bar before the game. 

This also applies to the following:

• Full Member - Single League curlers wishing to spare in another league
• Daytime members wishing to spare in an evening league
• Half-year  non-members who wish to spare during the other half of the season

Non-member spares may not spare during the Fixed League's playoffs.

Non-members may spare in daytime leagues for $10 per game during the season.

This also applies to the following:

• Full Member - Single League curlers wishing to spare in another league
• Daytime members who have only registered for 1 day but wish to play on the other day in the week
